Scenario

You need to prepare a short leadership briefing on the Energy Data Platform initiative. You will create a presentation from a Word source, add an explanatory slide, improve the deck, and generate speaker notes.

Exercise 1 - Create a presentation from a Word document

Create a 7-slide executive presentation from /01_Mock_Project_Charter_Energy_Data_Platform.docx.

Audience: BP Malaysia senior leadership training audience.

Include:
1. Title
2. Business problem
3. Proposed solution
4. Scope and deliverables
5. Risks and mitigations
6. Decisions required
7. Next steps

Use concise slide titles and leadership-friendly wording.

Exercise 2 - Add a new slide

Create one additional slide explaining why KPI standardization is important in energy operations reporting.

Use a simple visual structure with three key points.

Exercise 3 - Improve slide wording

Make this slide more executive-focused.
Reduce the word count.
Keep only the message that supports a decision.

Exercise 4 - Generate speaker notes

Create speaker notes for each slide.

Each note should contain:
- The key message
- One supporting detail
- One transition sentence to the next slide

Exercise 5 - Review the presentation

Give me slide-by-slide suggestions to improve this presentation for a senior leadership audience.
Focus on clarity, decision support, risk visibility, and visual storytelling.

[!TIP] Optional extension: Open 12_Mock_Leadership_Briefing_Source_Deck.pptx and ask Copilot to improve the existing deck instead of generating a new one.
